Recruiting Class of 2013

2013 recruitsEast Sports Town, a Tri-State Sports & News Service, takes a peak of some of the top prospects from the Class of 2013. The list includes 15 players, some of whom will attract Division I interest.

At the top of their list is Dane Brown, a Franklin Regional RB at 5'-7" 185 lbs. Brown rushed for 1,960 yards and scored 34 touchdowns last season and although he doesn't possess the size or remarkable speed that attracts Division I scouts, he does have other talents, such as a great down field vision, that should get him some respectable looks.

Now,.... lets get to the meat of this article.

Also on EST's list are two standouts from Jeannette.

5'-8" 170 lb - FB/LB Jordan Edmunds. Jordan has emerged as a power threat on both sides of the ball. Last season, he had 126 carries for 899 yards, 13 touchdowns, and averaged 7.1 yards per carry. He also caught 17 passes for an additional 243 yards, averaging 14.3 yards per catch.

5'-5" 166 lb - RB/LB Shavonta Craft. It's no secret that Shavonta packs all the requirements to be a potential top recruit.  His speed alone was a contributing factor in averaging 7.9 yards a carry, (93 carries for 734 yards, 17 touchdowns). Like Jordan, he also makes it difficult for defense's to cover him. Shavonta caught 11 passes for 151 yards during the 2011 campaign.

The recruiting class of 2013 looks to be as exciting as the 2012 season looks to be, which is exactly why you'll want to keep posted.
