Add a comment Add a commentThe game plan all along was to score quickly and force Beaver to basically abandon their running game, but even Coach Hall was shocked after Jordan Edmunds ran the opening kick off back for an 85 yard touchdown. A play that would spark the Jayhawks offense and defense, into a total domination of the Bobcats.
Edmunds would score his second TD of the night, from five yards out to go up 14-0 on the Bobcats while Shavonta Craft finished the night with 119 yards on 11 carries and three of his own touchdowns, from one yard, 24 yards and 30 yards out. Anthony Canady would add another from 43 yards and safety Seth Miller scooped up a fumble recovery and returned it from 67 yards out.
Ok, time for Round 2 of the WPIAL Class AA Playoffs! Some interesting matchups to say the least. Aliquippa vs Mt. Pleasant should be a great game no matter what the score is just because the styles of the two teams are completely different! Winners go to the "Final Four" of the WPIAL Playoffs. The WPIAL Championships take place Friday, November 23rd. The Class AA Championship game will be played at 5pm that day. With a 50-3 record, here we go...
